Coil tattoo machines come in different styles, frame materials, and sizes. They typically come with two coils (typically 8 to 10 wrap) and feature a durable frame made of aluminum, iron, or steel. When the coils are charged and an electromagnetic current is used, the coil tattoo machine can draw and release a spring-loaded bar which taps your needles into the client's skin to create a tattoo. The two most common types of coil tattoo machines are liners and shaders.
